  1. Outland Crossroads

  3. Crossroads is a BBS application for Outland.  You must download the Outland Gateway and connect to Outland to use this program.  It is not a standalone application.
  4.  
  5. Outland is a graphical multiplayer game network for Macintosh users.  This initial public release is part of our testing process to work out the remaining glitches.  All access is free until the final release.  Currently, the applications we have available are Spaceward Ho, Chess, Reversi, Backstab, and a graphical BBS.

  7. You can connect to Outland if your Mac has Internet access using MacTCP, or if you dial our modems in Palo Alto, California.  Other dial-up sites will be available soon.

  14. 68020+ Macintosh
  15. System 7.0 or later
  16. MacTCP or a 2400+ baud modem
  17. Outland Gateway software

  20. INSTALLATION:

  22. 1.  If you have not done so already, download the Outland Gateway and create an Outland Games folder in the same folder as it.

  24. 2.  After decompressing the archive, you will see the Outland Crossroads folder containing the Crossroads application and this readme.

  26. 3.  Move the Crossroads application to the Outland Games folder before connecting to Outland.
  27.
